National Geographic Digital Motion Appoints New London Office Account Manager
WASHINGTON (June 11, 2007)—National Geographic Digital Motion, the archive footage and clip sales division of National Geographic Digital Media, has appointed Dan Pierce as account manager in its London office. He will be responsible for developing National Geographic Digital Motion’s business in the United Kingdom and throughout the rest of Europe.
Pierce is based in National Geographic offices in West London, along with National Geographic Television International and the worldwide (ex-U.S.) advertising team for National Geographic magazine. He reports to John Brosnan, National Geographic Digital Motion’s director of North American sales, based in Los Angeles.
Before joining National Geographic Digital Motion, Pierce was stock sales manager at Magnum Photos in London. He previously held posts at Idols Licensing and Publicity, London, where he was sales and marketing manager; Katz Pictures, where he was U.K. head of international sales; and OK! magazine, where he served as photography library manager. Pierce started his career at Corbis in New York in 1989 and spent more than 10 years with the company in both the New York and London offices.
